How many Gold coins left for rest of journey ?
You're given 50 gold coins before your big journey,
but you decide to leave 25 of them at home before leaving.
On the first day you spend 20% the gold you brought on food and
you give 10 of the remaining coins to a beggar who has nothing.
The king now claims 20% of all gold in the country,
which everyone pays in person instantly.
the next day the beggar, who didn't buy a thing,
gives you all his gold back,
because he felt guilty for taking it.

Total coins = 50Coins left at home = 25
Coins taken for journey = 50-25 = 25
20% on food = 0.2*25 = 5 coins
Coins left after food = 25-5 = 20 coins
Coins given to beggar = 10
Remaining coins with me = 20-10 = 10
Now king ordered to collect 20% Coins form everyone.
Now at this time both me and beggar have 10 coins each in person. Also I have 25 Coins at home.
Total coins remaining with me = 10+25 = 35
Coins taken by King from me = 0.2*35 = 7
Coins taken by King from beggar = 0.2*20 = 2
Coins left with me in person = 10-7 = 3
Coins remaining with beggar = 10-2 = 8
Coins given back by beggar to me, so now I've total = 3+8 = 11 (25 coins at home)
So 11 coins are left for the rest of the journey.
